Supreme Court nixes Trump-era "Bump Stock" Ban

The U.S. Supreme Court threw out a Trump administration ban on bump stocks, the device used by the shooter in the 2017 massacre in Las Vegas. The devices allowed the shooter to adapt AR-15s to simulate automatic fire as he opened fire from his hotel room at a country musical festival. As described in the opening and closing of American Gun: The True Story of the AR-15, Las Vegas was the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history, and the shooter used numerous AR-15s, as well as a few AR-10s, to do it.
