The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books is a spectacular, massive, and well-run book extravaganza held annually on the campus of USC. Any possible genre of book is represented. If you live in Southern California, you must attend the LATimes FOB. The Prize finalists' event and party on Friday was wonderful, and our panel on guns the next day -- with California Attorney General Rob Bonta, Exit Wounds author and Brown University Professor Ieva Jusionyte, and WitnessLA founder Celeste Fremon had only one problem -- one hour wasn't long enough. Questions from the audience at the panel and afterward at the book signing were thoughtful. Again, thank you, Los Angeles.
